MarketResearch
Market research focuses on consumer preferences, business conditions, and ther factors to assess potential sales of a product or service. Market researchers help companies understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price. This route is recommended for students who would like to pursue a career in marketing research or have an interest on how businesses and companies make their ends meet!
Data Science
Data science focuses on programming, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to analyze large data or in other words “Big Data”. This route is appropriate for students with some background in computer science, as this joints with the Computer Science Department.
Program Evaluation and Policy Analysis
Are you considering a career in government, international organizations, non-profits, education, or healthcare? If so, you might be the right fit in program evaluation and policy analysis! Gain the expertise to apply your research skills to the specific challenges of assessing programs and policies, and equip yourself for roles in policy, government, healthcare, and education sectors.
Media and Marketing
If you are interested in marketing, public relations, or advertising, media and marketing may just be your path! This route combines a background in media and marketing with data analysis skills that will give students an edge in analyzing target markets and promoting successful marketing campaigns.
Applied Social Research
If you like conducting your own research, collecting your own data, applied social research may be a great fit. This track prepares students for a career in any type of social science setting. Recommended for students who are contemplating a doctorate in Sociology or other Social Science discipline.
