Save time and money by combining your undergraduate studies with a Master’s degree in Data Analytics and Applied Social Research. The Accelerated Master’s program enables students to take four MA courses for joint credit toward both their Sociology BA and Data Analytics and Applied Social Research MA requirements.
Eligibility Requirements:
- An overall GPA of at least 3.5
- A grade of B+ or better in DATA 205 and DATA 212 (or equivalent)
Graduate courses as electives in the Sociology BA (Up to Four)
- DATA 710 Basic Analytics (4 credits)
- DATA 716 Professional Writing and Communication (3 credits)
- DATA 754 Applied Social Research I (3 credits)
- Other Substantive Topics in Sociology Courses (3 credits)

Things to Consider: Students may opt out at any time. Students will receive their BA degrees upon successful completion of all undergraduate requirements as outlined in the Undergraduate Course Bulletin. Students will receive their MA degree upon successful completion of the remaining graduate requirements as outlined in the Graduate Course Bulletin.
